Bringing crap to new heights of almost-not-crap.

I had to think really hard how to rate this thing. On the one hand, I've seen straight music videos much worse than this achieve popularity- I think they're called 'fanimutations'? Maybe that's what this is.

But on the other hand this thing has no point to it whatsoever. I suppose that's why I hate fanimutations.

Your art is decent. You should do a video with a storyline or, failing that, at least a series of events, rather than simply throwing images at the viewer and having them lip-sync. Keep trying.

Why is it that the newest robots are always evil?

Absolutely top-notch camera work and sound. Loved the establishing shots, ambient sound effects, and initial pacing.

Why do the evil robots just stand there for a second when he takes the first one down?

Not much of an establishing story, but the battle itself is well enough plotted to make up for this. I suppose it is a given by now that evil robots will rampage, and good robots will hunt them down.

The most impressive thing about this movie is that you made the action entertaining without relying on it being frenetic chaos- i.e. a 'stickflick'. It could be faster, but then I suppose the movie would be too short.

The 'epilogue' scene is an excellent touch, much better than ending on the death of the final enemy or with into-sunset-riding like most of these straight action films do.

Thank you for making this! I really enjoyed watching it.

This is fun.

This movie is really cute. The animation is a little rough, but that's more than made up for by the story. Thank you for making it.

Fittingly, same strengths and weaknesses as Proto

Just like Proto, this film has really superb animation, excellent smoothness, stylish camera work, and lovely destruction effects.

Just like Proto, it has no story.

In fact, until I went and watched Proto, (which I thank you for directing me to) I was wondering if I was seeing two different robots when the thing suddenly became sky scraper-sized. I'm not normally a stickler for realism, but seeing an apparently human-sized robot gain 500 ft in height takes me back to 1990, watching japanese men in bulky costumes duke it out in slow-motion on a sound stage while watching Power Rangers.

The thing is beautiful, but dammit, it needs a story!

Finally. You don't know how glad I am to finally read a useful review. I understand your points, but the reason why the robot supersized was because it was more like, a joke or parody based on The Iron Giant (1999).

I honestly can't think of a storyline for such a random movie like this. But I appreciatte you bringin up the idea anyway.

Thanks man.

The story is crap; but everything else is gold!

Well, there isn't much of a story here, but it is nevertheless very enjoyable to watch. OUTSTANDINGLY smooth animation, excellent camera work, and the destruction effects with the robots breaking into components were great; good music selection & syncing ass well. Lots of fun to watch. Please make another!

I think even a very simple, juvenile, 'government built a mad robot'-type story would add immensely to the animation, instead of just starting him off shooting.

Books you should read: "Iron John" by Robert Bly; "The Education of Robert Nifkin" by Daniel Pinkwater; "Maniac Magee" by Jerry Spinelli; "Be a Perfect Person in Just Three Days!" by Stephen Manes
